Tintilia del Molise Collezione 2017

From the Molise region in South Italy, Tintilia is the local wine grape used to make dry red and "rosso" wines. At 885 feet above sea level in the Appennini Mountains overlooking the Adriatic Sea, the merging of mountain and sea happen at the TerreSacre Vineyards. 100% hand harvested and selected Tintilia grapes from the oldest vines of the estate. Half is aged in French barrrique and the other half aged in steel for 1 year. At that point, the wine is assembled and aged in bottle at the estate for an additional 3 years. Aging potential is 15 years and makes a great off-the-beaten-path selection for your Italian wine collection.
