The Scene You Are In
You stand now—not on the tourist-strewn piazza, but atop the living earth where grapes arc toward the sun. In one direction, San Gimignano’s towers rise proud, a medieval skyline of oyster shell and brick. In the other, Sangiovese vines slope downward, yearning for the harvest. There is a hum here—of bees, of history, of soil absorbing centuries.
Then, you lift a glass of Cantina Tuscania’s Testa Per Aria Chianti. Its color is a wakeful red, suntouched and earnest. On the palate: cherry’s bright echo, a whisper of cypress gardens, and Sangiovese’s signature backbone, refined by technology and respect for nature. There is a clarity here that speaks of science—and the poetry of a place that, despite modernity, remains rooted in its ancient soul.
Not for the gelato-licking crowds. Just 3,500 bottles for a Tuscan non-tourist.
