Tuluj Isola dei Nuraghi 2013

Tuluj is a "blue zone" red wine inspired by the Nuragic Civiliation: the ancestral people of Sardinia. This ancient Sardinian blend is made from 100-year-old Carignano vines. The other important grapes are Cannonau and Bovale. After a careful hand-harvest the wine ages 3 years in French barrique for by at least 2 years of aging in glass bottle. 

To the nose it offers notes of red fruits, marasca cherries, revealing hints of sweet tobacco and wild liquorice. On the palate, it is enveloping, warm, savory, with a rich texture of dense and soft tannins that make it particularly elegant. Micro batch of 2,000 bottles handcrafted per annum. Each bottle individually numbered for the highest quality assurance.
